Claudia Rojas is a poeta with a BA in English from George Mason University. She was born in El Salvador, raised in the Washington, DC area, and lives in Falls Church, VA. As educator, Claudia has five years’ experience working with children and young adults in academic, camp, and community settings.

She has never had a dog or a house of her own, but knows these are in her, currently, uncertain future. She is the daughter of immigrants and is an immigrant with a temporary protected legal status.
