Claudia Rojas is a poeta and community advocate. She was born in El Salvador, raised in the Washington, DC area, and lives in Falls Church, VA. As educator, Claudia has six years’ experience working with children and young adults in academic, camp, and community settings. Professional experience includes freelance writing, consulting, and interning with the Millennial Action Project, FWD.us, and Stillhouse Press. Claudia has led poetry workshops in multiple settings and is currently on the Argot Magazine team. She is currently Split This Rock’s Youth Program Fellow, formerly a 2018 Split This Rock Teaching Artist.
Education: Bachelor’s in English from George Mason University.
